About the Position

The Shared Services Officer Role, reports to the Team Leader of Shared Services and is responsible for three main segments within Land Services SA (LSSA), Industry, product, and valuation support. Our Shared Services Team deliver high quality Customer Service in a busy, fast paced environment, interacting with clients through face-to-face service, phone and written communication and data capture. Customers will include conveyancer’s, solicitor’s, lawyers, real estate agents, planners, developers, Valuers, and the public. The role requires developing rapport with Customers and providing them with an appropriate level of service.

All key responsibilities within the Shared Services Team will be cross skill over the below segments and will be required to support each other.

Main Responsibilities 

  • Responding to call centre enquires, emails and attending to front desk customer requests.
  • Assisting customers to lodge documents and providing general information
  • Supports the team by providing updates on unique enquiries
  • Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction and compliance
  • Educates customers regarding available services provided by Land Services SA
  • Ability to navigate several software packages
  • Develop and manage tasks to meet and achieve time frames, targets, and requirements
  • Maintain contractual phone SLA’s
  • Objection handling and resolving customer complaints
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Ensuring work undertaken meets work quality and service delivery standards and/or compliance with regulations, codes, and specifications.
  • Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of databases and records and retrieving and archiving information where required.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to support processes associated with the delivery and/or administration of assigned programs, projects, systems and/or services.

  • Proven Customer Service Skills to provide a first-class Customer Service experience to our customers
  • Strong administration and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail and passion for delivering work to a high standard.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills including the ability to manage competing and/or changing priorities
  • Proven team-oriented approach to work, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
  • Demonstrated initiative, with a proactive approach to work and willingness to undertake tasks outside of core remit.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience using databases and online systems.
  • Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities
